In her role at ACCP, Sarah (she/her) identifies industry trends and creates content for members to use as they look to increase their knowledge. She curates educational webcasts, liaises with Conference speakers, and her research can be found in the Resource Library and the Blog. Sarah’s previous experience includes nonprofit management and grant writing at Green Our Planet, a school garden start-up, an environmental sustainability apprenticeship at Zappos.com, and volunteer leadership with Milwaukee Public Schools. She is an advocate for LGBTQIA+ community.

Sarah is on the Associate Board of the nonprofit Boston Cares. She attends as much theatre as possible, cheers too loudly during Washington Caps games, and dreams of visiting Mongolia. Her favorite books are Gang Leader for a Day and The Hobbit.

Sarah received her BA in International Studies from Indiana University and her MS in Environmental Policy from the University of Denver. She lives with her husband, Max.

Sarah is based in Portland, OR, traditional territory of the Clackamas and Cowlitz peoples, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
