A question came up about surveying employees on funding focus areas important to them.Definitely reply if you’ve done this or have experience with this.

Employee engagement was discussed in terms of how to get employees to engage at volunteer events andrecognize their efforts. The takeaways include allowing employees tochoose where they volunteer, strong volunteer time off programs, andattention-grabbing volunteer sites. On a volunteerism-related note, head to theResource Center for sample VTO policies and more.

A call for foundation by-laws was made, so pleasedon’t hesitate to share what you have.

Finally, May closed with a question on how companies are responding to the Manchester terrorismattack. While many companies may be in the process of still formingresponses, please do let each other know what you are doing.
