RISE: Realizing Inclusive Leadership in Corporate Social Impact

RISE is a first-of-its-kind leadership development program focused on advancing inclusive leadership within corporate social impact. RISE is tailored for mid-career corporate social impact professionals who aspire to lead with authenticity, inclusivity, and impact. This immersive and innovative cohort program is designed to develop future leaders who will prioritize diverse perspectives and experiences to shape the future of corporate social impact.

The RISE program is unique in that it combines ACCP’s distinctive emphasis on guidance informed by real practice and corporate social responsibility (CSR)-field leaders while fostering an inclusive learning peer community.

The RISE program integrates three essential pillars to empower CSR professionals:

  • Leadership skills specifically needed for CSR leadership effectiveness 
  • Advanced knowledge of CSR topics 
  • Expert guidance on navigating corporate environments and fostering meaningful community impact.  

Together, these elements prepare participants to lead with confidence and drive transformative change. This multi-month hybrid program offers engaging virtual learning for flexibility and convenience, paired with an impactful in-person session that will foster deep connections and hands-on collaboration.

Attendees benefit from mentorship opportunities and a capstone project that transforms insights into action, allowing participants to apply their learnings in real-world contexts and showcase their growth as leaders in corporate social impact. The RISE program prepares individuals for senior leadership roles within CSR.

With a small cohort of 15-20 participants, RISE provides an intimate and highly interactive environment for learning, growth, and peer connection.

  • 3-day In-person Kick Off Event (May 4-6, 2026)
  • Monthly 3-hour virtual sessions weaving theory and practice
  • Monthly peer mentoring circles
  • 1:1 mentoring with a Senior CSR leader
  • RISE by Design Capstone Project
  • Confidential Online discussion and peer networking space 
  • Optional Wellness Challenges
Eligibility:

Open to all mid-career corporate social impact professionals committed to inclusive leadership that values a diversity of thought and life experiences. The program invites participants to reflect on how their unique experiences shape their leadership approach.

Ideal Candidates:
  • Mid-career corporate social impact professionals
  • Have at least 5 years of progressive experience within corporate social impact (not inclusive of nonprofit experience)
  • Are in a current role that includes managing budgets, staff and/or strategy
  • Have aspirations to advance into a senior leadership position in corporate social impact
  • Are looking to deepen their commitment to inclusive leadership that values diversity of thought and lived experiences
  • Can commit to attend each monthly session for the duration of the program
Time Requirements

The RISE program will span approximately 8 months. Participants will be required to travel to an in-person gathering May 4-6 in Atlanta, GA, dedicate 4-6 hours per month for virtual sessions and mentoring, and are encouraged to attend ACCP’s Annual Conference in Boston, MA September 14-16.

Application Process: 

The application period for the 2026 RISE cohort will be January 12-March 13 and includes a combination of essay responses and professional references.
