Program Description

The ACCP Employee Engagement Virtual Summit brings together CSR and employee engagement leaders to explore innovative approaches for building people-powered programs that inspire action, drive connection, and align with business goals.

Michal Alter is the Co-Founder and CEO of Visit.org, a global platform that helps companies connect employees with purpose through thousands of social impact experiences led by and benefiting local nonprofits. With more than two decades of experience spanning technology and social development, she founded Visit.org to give enterprise corporate social impact leaders the infrastructure and content to scale authentic, purpose-driven engagement worldwide. Before Visit.org, Michal worked as a Systems Architect in the tech industry and later led refugee programs, serving over 20,000 people. She is a founding member of WeTheChange, a coalition of women B Corp CEOs advancing social and environmental impact, and a member of the International Women’s Forum, a global network of women leaders.

Kimberly Bishop is a Corporate Responsibility leader with eight years at Gen, where she manages social impact programs focused on employee engagement, community investment, and product donation. She brings extensive experience partnering with internal teams and external organizations to scale impact programs that strengthen communities and business outcomes. Her expertise includes strategic grantmaking, global volunteer engagement, and cross-functional program management. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is driven by the belief that meaningful change happens when people and organizations work together for the greater good.

She obtained her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary and undergraduate degree in Communications with concentrations in Business and Leadership from Northwestern University.

Prior to her time at Adobe, Amanda led community engagement at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Southern California and previously served on the board of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestras. She’s never one to turn down a good taco, historical house tour, or cold glass of New Zealand sav blanc or Scotch whisky depending on the season.

With a client portfolio encompassing over 150 Fortune 500 companies, Angela has established herself as a leading voice in corporate social responsibility and transformative workplace cultures.

Angela’s expertise centers on identifying, isolating, and solving complex barriers faced by CSR practitioners while building what she terms “Transformative Workplaces.” Her research and practice focus on the strategic application of Transformative Learning Theory in corporate settings, helping to establish and professionalize the field of social impact.

A sought-after global speaker on social impact and compassionate leadership, Angela brings a diverse background to her work. Prior to founding Realized Worth, she successfully built and sold a cleaning business, lived and worked within marginalized communities, and led humanitarian teams during Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in 2005.

Angela holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Her governance experience includes completing a three-year term as President of the Board for Renewal in the Wilderness, and she currently serves on the board of From:Baltimore.

Katie Panzica has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporate Social Responsibility community impact strategy throughout her 12 year tenure on the team. She currently leads over 160 volunteer teams around the world to engage with non-profit partners both at the global and local scale. She has also curated dozens of hands-on STEM activities to create turn-key solutions for colleagues wishing to connect with youth to inspire innovation and creativity. Through support of the year round volunteer program at Thermo Fisher and three annual engagement campaigns, Katie’s work supports the company’s goals of contributing over 120,000 volunteer hours annually to local communities and reaching over 165,000 youth through STEM programming.

Previously at Village Capital, the largest organization in the world supporting impact-driven, seed-stage startups, Fred has spent his career in government and consulting scaling business initiatives, building cross-sector partnerships, and developing integrated solutions that help leading brands drive revenue growth while managing corporate responsibility and sustainability objectives. Fred serves on the board of FinAbility, a nonprofit empowering survivors of domestic abuse through financial education, and Closegap, a nonprofit tech platform supporting K-12 student mental health. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in International Security – Global Economic Policy from Sciences Po – Paris School of International Affairs.

Over her career, Amy previously served as the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Relations for Nordstrom, as well as the Head of Global Community Relations & Public Affairs at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
