For the first time, ACCP will take conference participants beyond the ballroom and into the community for a curated Learning Journey in East Boston. This immersive, half-day experience is designed to connect strategy with lived experience through a walking tour that brings partners together across a shared landscape of stakeholders and communities, highlighting how collaboration can maximize collective impact.
Attendees will meet nonprofit leaders and cross-sector partners advancing economic mobility, youth development, public health, and food access. Through site visits, guided tours, and candid panel conversations, participants will explore how community rooted organizations—often serving the same populations and neighborhood,- actively collaborate with corporate and philanthropic partners to drive meaningful, measurable impact.
Rather than simply hearing about best practices, attendees will see firsthand how trust based partnerships are built and sustained, how funding strategies may evolve, and how equity centered design shapes programs that respond to real community priorities. Structured reflection and peer dialogue throughout the experience will help participants translate insights into practical, actionable approaches for their own CSR strategies.
Transportation will be provided between the Westin and community host locations. Attendees will return to the conference venue ahead of the welcome reception.
Check in and Departure
Before departing for the Learning Journey, participants will hear from Loomis Sayles about their approach to community impact in Boston and the role they play within the region’s broader social impact ecosystem. Through an overview of their strategy, partnerships, and place-based approach, attendees will gain context on the local landscape and the interconnected network of organizations working to address community needs. ACCP will also provide an overview of the Learning Journey experience, helping participants understand how the site visits connect to broader themes of collaboration, community investment, and collective impact.

Panel and Q&A: Community Perspectives on Partnership and Collective Impact
Conversation featuring leaders from the organizations driving change across East Boston, including Zumix, NeighborHealth, and Eastie Farm. Through their firsthand experiences, panelists will share how community organizations, corporate partners, philanthropies, and public-sector stakeholders are working together to address local priorities and create meaningful outcomes for residents.
The discussion will explore what makes cross-sector partnerships successful, how trust and shared accountability are cultivated, and why community voice is essential to achieving sustainable impact. Attendees will gain practical insights into partnership-building, learn how organizations align resources around common goals, and leave with ideas they can apply to strengthen collaboration and community impact in their own regions.
Tour and Volunteer Activity at Eastie Farm
Visit Eastie Farm, a community-driven organization advancing food access, environmental sustainability, and urban agriculture in East Boston. Participants will tour the farm’s innovative growing spaces, including its greenhouse, hydroponic systems, mushroom cultivation, and outdoor gardens, while learning how local partnerships support healthier and more resilient communities.
The experience will culminate in a hands-on service activity.

Learning Journeys offer conference attendees the opportunity to step outside the traditional conference setting and engage directly with the local community. In Boston, this immersive experience will introduce participants to the organizations, partnerships, and people working to address critical community challenges and expand opportunity across the region.
Sponsored by Fidelity, this Learning Journey offers an inside look at how corporate, nonprofit, philanthropic, education, and community leaders work together to strengthen financial literacy across Greater Boston. Representing different sectors of the ecosystem, leaders will share the unique role they play, what they need from partners, and the conditions that enable effective public-private collaboration to address real community needs.
Participants will then visit a local community organization to experience this work firsthand through an organizational overview, guided tour, and hands-on activity. Throughout the experience, attendees will gain practical insight into how place-based partnerships are built, sustained, and translated into meaningful community impact.

Fidelity’s Community Impact Strategy and the Power of Place
Every community has a unique ecosystem that shapes how social impact happens. In this opening session, Fidelity will provide an overview of its community impact strategy and explore the philanthropic landscape of Greater Boston. Participants will learn how Fidelity identifies community priorities, aligns investments with local needs, and works alongside nonprofit and civic leaders to advance long-term outcomes. This session will provide important context for the Learning Journey, equipping attendees with a deeper understanding of Boston’s community landscape before engaging directly with local organizations.
Inside Boston’s Community Impact Ecosystem: How Cross-Sector Partnerships Drive Financial Literacy
Addressing complex community challenges requires more than funding—it requires strong relationships across sectors. In this panel discussion, leaders representing philanthropy, nonprofits, education, business, and community organizations will share how they work together to advance financial literacy across Greater Boston. Rather than highlighting a single initiative, panelists will offer their perspectives on the unique role each sector plays, what they need from partners, and the conditions that enable meaningful collaboration. Through candid conversation and audience Q&A, attendees will gain practical insights into building trusted partnerships, navigating different stakeholder priorities, and creating the conditions for sustainable community impact.
From Mission to Movement
Conclude the Learning Journey with an immersive visit to a local Boston nonprofit working to address a critical community challenge through innovative programs and cross-sector collaboration. During this site visit, participants will gain an inside look at the organization’s mission, learn about its approach to creating lasting community impact, and explore how partnerships with corporations, funders, public agencies, and other community organizations help advance its work.
