Annual Conference
2024

Connections @ Conference

Conference offers the opportunity to connect with peers through the sharing of stories, ideas, experiences, and a mutual desire to amplify voices and unleash impact as individuals and as a collective. Throughout the program, we invite you to take advantage of the many opportunities to engage with our community as we each share a part of our story and glean insights from others for a more connected whole.

Become a Conference Buddy

Is it your first Conference and you’re uncertain of who you’ll connect with? Do you wish you could triplicate yourself to attend multiple sessions? Do you want a new ACCP friend? Then sign up to be a Conference Buddy! Conference Buddies are groupings of conference attendees who are interested in connecting with others in a small peer community to network and share conference and industry insights. Please note, this program is only open to CSR practitioners.

Host a Community Convening

Interested in having some fun while bringing together a group of your peers around a specific topic of interest, shared identity, or passion while at Conference? Become a Community Convening host! Hosts are responsible for selecting a topic and activity (dinner, bowling, coffee, run, yoga, art class, book club, cocktails, etc.), making a reservation (if necessary), and facilitating group introductions on site.

Attend a Community Convening

Enjoy exploring San Diego with a small group of fellow conference attendees in a peer-hosted Community Convening. More information for each Community Convening, including locations and hosts will be available in mid-July. Please note each individual attendee is responsible for the cost of their activity and registration is limited to 10 people per group. This program is only open to CSR practitioners.

Connect with Peers in a Member Group

The community created in peer learning environments is a hallmark of the ACCP experience. In the afternoon of the first full day of Conference, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with your peers in a shared community or topic of your choosing from the options listed below:

  • CSR Small Teams
  • Emerging Leaders
  • Executive Network
  • Foundations & Grantmaking
  • MedTech & Pharma
  • Southeast

If you are interested in facilitating a Member Group meeting at Conference, have an interest in a group or topic that you don’t see listed, or would like to learn more about this experience, please contact Hillary Roviaro. Member Groups are only available to CSR practitioners.

Engage in a Topical Discussion

In the ever-changing landscape that is corporate social impact, being able to connect over open and honest conversations with your peers on trending topics that matter most to your work can be invaluable. Join the conversation on Sunday, September 8, for a variety of Topical Discussions facilitated by your peers.

Specific topics will be shared in July, if you are interested in facilitating a Topical Discussion, please connect with Hillary Roviaro (hillary@accp.org) for more information.

Connect and Engage in the Conference App

Download the Conference App to start engaging with attendees, speakers, and ACCP staff. Our Conference app enables you to connect one-on-one with fellow attendees, speakers, and sponsors. You can schedule times to meet up or chat one-on-one in the app. You’ll earn points each time you engage in the app, with each point gained pushing you further up the leaderboard, increasing your chances of winning a prize! Will you be our champion of creating a conference community?

Connect in the Evenings at our Receptions

Jump-start your Conference experience by connecting at our Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 8. Meet up with friends and welcome new participants as we gear up for a few days of learning and connection.

The fun continues Monday, September 9 as we enjoy an evening reception on the beautiful terrace overlooking the San Diego Bay and share the day’s “ah-ha” moments and mingle with new friends.

Thank you for your submission.
