Avery Dennison
Janet Sandoval is the global director of corporate social responsibility for Avery Dennison and the Avery Dennison Foundation.
Janet manages the Foundation’s grant programs, including the Global Grantmaking Initiative and the employee-driven Avery Dennison Granting Wishes program. She provides support for the Avery Dennison Scholarship Programs, and for disaster relief efforts. She develops employee volunteerism activities – a critical focus of the corporation’s employee engagement initiative – and acts as lead for large-scale employee volunteer projects.
Janet has over 20 years in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. She joined Avery Dennison in 2010 from the California Wellness Foundation, where she focused on aligning grantmaking to improve population health outcomes, address women’s health, and to increase diversity in the health professions to marketing communications and media relations.
She has served on Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy’s Board of Advisors, the Board for Exceptional Minds, and the YMCA of Glendale. In addition, she is an active member of Southern California Grantmakers and sits on their Corporate Advisory Council. She is a Global Advisor for How Women Lead’s Women Leaders of the World Program, and an Executive Sponsor for Avery Dennison’s Voz Latina Employee Resource Group.
Janet earned her B.S. in business with an emphasis in communications from the University of Phoenix and resides in Southern California.
