Katie Beacham believes business can and should be an inclusive force for good. She leads social impact and sustainability for Kilpatrick, a global law firm headquartered in Atlanta. Through philanthropy, volunteerism, pro bono strategic partnerships, and board leadership, Kilpatrick focuses on supporting access and opportunity across the 18 U.S. and 4 international communities where it has offices. Katie created Kilpatrick’s award-winning Law Camp program for Boys & Girls Clubs high school members to explore legal careers, as well as the Kilpatrick Education & Opportunity Fund with United Way of Greater Atlanta. Additionally, she leads the KTS Employee Financial Support Fund, an independent nonprofit that assists Kilpatrick colleagues experiencing hardship.
Prior to joining the firm, Katie served as the founding director of global corporate social responsibility and sustainability at a Fortune 500 financial technology company, and she previously led corporate citizenship strategy and programs for Deloitte U.S. She began her career as a management consultant at Deloitte.
Katie earned a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Baylor University, and she is pursuing a PhD in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development at the University of Georgia. She chairs the board of PAWS Atlanta, and she recently served on the Global Growers Network board of directors, Baylor University’s Alumni Regional Council, and the Barack and Michelle Obama Academy (Atlanta Public Schools) Governance Team.
