Patrick McAnally is the Director of Community and Civic Engagement at AB. In this role, McAnally leads the firm’s efforts to engage its people and leverage resources to support AB’s communities worldwide. He oversees the firm’s global philanthropy programs, volunteering initiatives, nonprofit board participation efforts, employee gift matching program, civic engagement program and government relations. Prior to joining AB in 2021, McAnally worked as the director of community engagement at Vote Tennessee for Leadership Tennessee. His work focused on convening Leadership Tennessee members and communities around action-oriented conversations on issues of statewide importance and encouraging more Tennesseans to register to vote and participate in elections. McAnally holds a BA in law, justice and society and an MA in conflict management from Lipscomb University. He is an active member of and has served on the board at West End United Methodist Church, and has co-chaired the Lay Leadership and LGBTQ+ Inclusion committees. McAnally serves on the board of Project Transformation Tennessee.
