Ximena A Delgado is a Senior Vice President and Philanthropic Giving Program Manager for the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. She delivers on the company’s purpose to help make financial livers better. She leads the Income Creation pillar which seeks to empower individuals to create sustainable income opportunities through comprehensive skill building for youth, including youth development, entrepreneurial support, and access to financial resources and products. Included in her responsibilities is her leadership with the Bank’s Summer Youth Employment Program. 

Previously, Ximena led the barriers to employment and Native American Philanthropic strategy as part of the Charitable Foundation. Prior to this, Ms. Delgado served as the San Francisco Market Manager for Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs, where she managed the local foundation and sponsorship budgets and Market President Strategy. She has also held the Community Relations Manager role for the East Bay, San Francisco and North Bay Markets, where she was responsible for coordinating the bank’s community development reinvestment activities. Ms. Delgado joined Bank of America in 1998.

Ms. Delgado graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a master’s degree in science from the Milano School of Policy, Management, & Environment at the New School for Social Research in New York City. In addition, Ms. Delgado holds a Business Executive degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is a Woodrow Wilson National Fellow.  

An active member of the community, Ms. Delgado has served on nonprofit boards, including being a member of the Workforce Investment Board, a member of the Finance Committee at Live Oak School, and the Enterprise Community Partners Northern California Leadership Council and past member of the Citizen’s Committee on Community Development for the City and County of San Francisco, Hope SF Steering Committee, and the Local Advisory Committee with the Bay Area Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Ms. Delgado is a past Co-Chair for the Bank of America San Francisco Bay Area HOLA (Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership & Advancement) Chapter. She’s an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area LGBT+ Pride Employee Network Leadership Team.

Ms. Delgado and her wife recently celebrated twenty-nine years together. They reside in San Francisco and have two children. Ms. Delgado’s preferred pronouns are she, her, and ella.
