Alexandria VA. — May 11, 2026 — The Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (ACCP) today announced the appointment of Deidra Parrish Williams as Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Thought Leadership, and Katie Stearns as Vice President of Membership & Fundraising, further strengthening the organization’s leadership team as ACCP continues to expand its impact and support for corporate social impact professionals.
Parrish Williams brings decades of experience at the intersection of corporate communications, community impact, and stakeholder engagement. She most recently served as Director of Corporate Citizenship & Community Affairs at Trane Technologies and Executive Director of the Trane Technologies Foundation, where she led a bold corporate citizenship strategy that elevated brand reputation, strengthened employee engagement, and contributed to the company’s recognition on Points of Light’s prestigious Civic 50 list of the top U.S. corporate citizens. She also served on ACCP’s Board of Directors from 2024-2026.
Stearns joins ACCP with more than 20 years of experience creating community-centered social impact programs and mobilizing people and resources for good. Most recently, she served as Chief Program & Impact Officer at Points of Light, where she scaled and strengthened corporate social impact programs, built a global network of volunteer organizations, and oversaw the organization’s annual conference. She has also held leadership roles at Common Impact, iMentor, and Chicago Cares.
“These leadership additions represent an exciting next chapter for ACCP and our members,” said Andrea Wood, CEO of ACCP. “Deidra’s expertise in communications and thought leadership, combined with Katie’s deep experience in member engagement, fundraising, and community building significantly strengthen our ability to support, connect, and elevate corporate social impact professionals across the field.”
Both leaders bring deep knowledge of ACCP’s model and members. Parrish Williams’ career spans corporate, nonprofit, and media sectors. She has consistently driven initiatives with meaningful social impact. Prior to Trane Technologies, she held leadership roles at Cablevision, and served as the founding executive director of the NuHealth Foundation, supporting a New York-based health system. A former journalist, she is also an author and frequent speaker on corporate social responsibility.
“Corporate citizenship is vital in building a healthy, equitable society,” said Parrish Williams. “I am excited to join ACCP and look forward to amplifying the voices and impact of a field driving so much meaningful change.”
Stearns’ background spans corporate social responsibility, nonprofit management, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships. In her new role, she will lead ACCP’s membership strategy, fundraising, and member experience to help strengthen and grow the organization’s community.
“Corporate social impact professionals are navigating rapid change and increasing expectations, and I’m excited to help build meaningful connections, resources, and opportunities to support them,” said Stearns.
