ACCP Staff
In 2016, ACCP launched the Purpose Awards to celebrate the work being done by corporate citizenship professionals as they created social impact in their communities. Unlike other awards that highlight an initiative or a company’s overall efforts, our goal with these awards was to highlight the individuals, who work day-in and day-out to enhance, support, and serve their communities through their work as CSR practitioners. So, who better to help select the 2021 Purpose Award recipients than a panel of peers who understand the need to champion the business case, drive measurable results, and deliver social impact both within their companies and throughout their communities?
This year, a panel of six leaders in the CSR field are volunteering their time to review and select the Purpose Awards recipients from submitted nominations. Those leaders include:
Carolyn Berkowitz – President & CEO, ACCP
Whether directly leading the work as she did at Capital One or advising leaders as she does at ACCP, Carolyn understands how to solve for complex social issues and drive impact.
Rich Maiore – President, Rocket Social Impact
As a social impact strategist and communicator, Rich supports brands as they bring their purpose to life.
Kevin Martinez, Vice President, Corporate Citizenship, ESPN + 2020 Trailblazer Award Recipient
Kevin has spent his career leading the CSR efforts of top U.S. brands, including more than a decade at ESPN where he and his team use the power of sport to inspire social change.
Rhonda Nesmith Crichlow, SVP and Chief Diversity Officer, Charter Communications
Rhonda has deep experience in D&I and corporate social responsibility and is committed to driving results and change. She extends her understanding, leadership, and time in this arena to many causes.
Matthew DeCamara, Executive Director, Rite Aid Foundation
As an experienced philanthropic leader, Matthew brings his passion for supporting the health and well-being of children to his role at the Rite Aid Foundation as they work to address racial inequities and health disparities in local neighborhoods.
Catherine McGlown, VP, ESG & Community Impact, MetaBank
