Leanne Posko joined Capital One in 2012 and serves as the Senior Manager for Community Affairs. In her role, Leanne oversees and implements Capital One’s community strategy, Future Edge, for the Mid-Atlantic region as well as the Retail and Direct Bank Business across Capital One’s footprint. The Future Edge initiative is focused on empowering more Americans to succeed in an ever-changing digitally-driven economy. Through Future Edge, Capital One provides community grants and support efforts designed to help America’s workforce to fill the jobs of today and tomorrow; help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow, compete, and succeed in the digital age; and provide individuals with money management tools and resources to help them prepare and invest for the future.
Prior to joining Capital One, Leanne held CSR positions with both Fannie Mae and Constellation Energy (now Exelon). She has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit community as well, working for organizations primarily focused on disability issues, workforce development and at-risk youth.
Leanne has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Leanne moved to Maryland in 1985 and currently resides in the Annapolis, MD area with her husband Henry and daughter Katie.
