ACCP Meets Stacy Cline

How did you first hear about ACCP? Why did you join?

I heard about ACCP from another member company. After exploring ACCP, I knew I had to join!
I learned about the content that was being delivered, the incredible member network, and from day one I felt that ACCP really took the time to understand what I needed as a professional, what we needed as a company, and has worked to help get the tools and resources that I needed to be successful.

We know the route to becoming a CSR professional can be different for everyone. Can you briefly tell us how you ended up in the field?

I was working as a consultant with several different nonprofit organizations to help them create a strategy, rebrand their marketing efforts, and develop new fundraising campaigns. I very quickly realized that while I loved what I was doing and who I was working with, I wanted to be on the corporate side where I felt I could make real change. Timing was on my side and a 6-month temporary role opened to join the brand new GoDaddy Corporate Social Responsibility team, and here I am 8 years later.

What piece of advice would you give someone new to the field of CSR, or considering entering the field?

CSR teams tend to be lean and are always responding to pressing needs and often those needs change frequently. Be ready to quickly adapt and remember that what you’re doing is making a big difference!

What’s something that’s always in your fridge?

Pickles! Mainly baby dills but sometimes I switch it up with a nice spicy pickle.

Thank you for your submission.
